It’s that time of year. Everything is shriveling up and dying, particularly my skin. And nothing is harder to keep moisturized and soft than my lips. A few months ago I received the Rodan + Fields Enhancements Lip and Body Micro-Dermabrasion Collection that includes a lip microderm in the form of a stick — think chapstick with little grainy bits that exfoliate your lips. You simply apply and wipe off with a wet cloth.
In years past, I learned to live with dry, peeling lips during the wintertime. I figured it was just the way it is. This winter, after reading several beauty books with instructions on keeping smooth, soft lips, I declared war on the dry winter lips. I try to moisturize my lips with my face cream every morning and night, but there is this one pesky patch of tough, dry skin on my lower lip that never seems to go away except when I use my Rodan + Fields Lip Micro-Dermabrasion ($16). It’s the only thing that works.
There is also a Body Micro-Dermabrasion ($30) that is like a stick of deoderant that you apply on your body in the shower and rinse off. This is perfect to use before applying self-tanner. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t make as much of a mess in the shower as my usual exfoliant.

winter is the worst. I am beyond itchy and scaly. and my poor lips are getting all wrinkly. I need some serious help!
If you saw my hands or lips you would know I desperately need this product. Can you say dry, cracked, bleeding? That bad. Really.
With a crummy thyroid and skin that looks like I was attacked by about 10 cats with insane claws, I can attest to the fact that these products might be the answer I am looking for.
Two words: desert. Winter. As if it isn’t dry enough out here in the Southwest, the winter wind and heating make my skin D-R-Y!!! Any help I can get that won’t kill me will be accepted. 🙂

I thought that micro-dermabrasion was lots more complicated, but these directions sound so easy. Now I’d like to give it a try. My skin is crying SOS with the furnace running full-time.

I have to agree with the majority…winter skin. It drives me nuts to have dry skin and even worse is chapped lips. Thank you for the opportunity to win, sounds like a great product.
This would be perfect because during the winter time my lips get dry spots on them that chap stick just doesn’t cure and so it makes it impossible to wear lipstick smoothly!
Every winter I get dry skin patches of the front of my shins and I get chapped lips.

I have never heard of this. My lips are so bad this season. Here in California we’ve gone from fires to snow and now its almost 80 outside. My lips cant take much more!
I think the set sounds wonderful! I’d love to have it because I have the grossest lips even though I put chapstick on all the time, they need some help so I can wear some lipstick

Honestly? I would use it on my back. With summer coming it would be nice to try something to fade the old acne scars I have.
My dry skin seriously needs exfoliation this year! I don’t know if it is age, or what, but I can see I am more “flakey” this year.
I need this because I don’t have time or funds to get full treatments at a spa on even an irregular basis, and this is like a quick spa treatment you can do on the run (or in the quick shower). My kids are aging me because I don’t have time for myself anymore!
