Have you ever felt like lipstick just melts off your lips? For years I have searched for a long lasting lipcolor that stays put, but that doesn’t make my lips feel dry and crunchy. Most of those long wearing lipsticks make my lips feel like the back of a crocodile. I have finally found the product that I have been looking for. Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain keeps my lips colorful without flaking or drying out. What a bonus that it is inexpensive. I found it on sale last week for $4.50. I think it is regularly about $7.99.
This lipstain is a water-based colorant that gives lips color without the heaviness of a lipstick. It is super light feeling and you just draw it on your lips. The applicator looks like a sharpie and you can outline and then fill in like you were painting on with a marker. I like to add gloss after I have applied the lipstain.
I first purchased #440 Wild Berry Wink. Hello bright red woman of ill repute. Not really the color for me. Next I tried #415 Teasing Blush. It is a nice shade of pretty pink, but I wanted something for every day use that was kinda lip colored and I finally found that with #420 Sassy Mauve. There are 10 different colors to experiment with. I feel sure that I will be buying more. At that price, I could eventually end up with all ten. It must be the marker thing…me likie markies. I have a fetish for them and own every color that Sharpie makes.
***I tried to show you a photo of each color that I had tried. I even had a lip model. Darn pictures wouldn’t upload, though. My sister is probably glad since she really made quite a funny lip face with that woman of ill repute color. She might not have been happy that I posted it for all to see.

Thanks for sharing info on the different shades – good to know!
It was fun trying out the lipstains. Love the concept. I feel the same way about most long lasting lipcolors. Thanks for not posting the ill repute pics. I can live without the stigma.
Oh, I’ve been wanting to try these out – I’ll definitely do it after a good review! 🙂
I found a sale this week at CVS and coupons in the Sunday flyer–can’t wait to get some!
