I *Heart* Being a Greasy Bear

I grew up with a mother who slathered me down as a child with lotions, potions and oils. That must be the reason that I HAVE to feel moisturized at all times. I go kookoo-for-cocoa puffs crazy if my skin is dry. Like insane in the membrane kinda crazy.

I have tried every kind of product you can imagine, but my all time fav is just plain old baby oil. I keep it in the shower and squirt it on while my skin is still wet. I rub it in and then lightly towel off. I have been doing this for many years, and I think I have pretty soft skin. It keeps me moisturized even in the drying winter months.

Now keep in mind that when you get out of the shower that you will need to wipe your face with a different towel. Most of us don’t need baby oil going straight into the pores on our face. You should probably also be a little careful that your husband doesn’t pick up and use your towel on accident. Otherwise, you will hear him scream that he now feels like a greasy bear. Oh well, I *Heart* being a greasy bear!!

I normally use the generic version of the vitamin E and aloe kind of oil. Although I love the smell of the lavender baby oil, I only buy it when I can find it on sale. I also buy the travel size for when I am going on the road. A girl can’t be without her moisturizing product!!

  1. I stopped using baby oil a long time ago and switched to jojoba oil. I find that it doesn’t a leave greasy film on my skin (absorbs quickly) and keeps my skin really moisturized. I give it a thumb’s up!
