What can I say? I love chocolate. It never lets me down, but fills me with happiness every time I put it in my mouth. I’ll take it in bar form, ice cream, candy, drinks, and even in my face mask. Yes, you read that right I use a face mask that is chocolate too!
Hemloq, which is the company that created my Chocolate Masque, creates products that contain only genuinely natural and healthy ingredients that are not only earth friendly, but also effective. All their products are made of pure ingredients so they protect the skin while infusing below the skin with restorative ingredients that leave your skin feeling refreshed and glowing.
When I first opened the tub my nose was instantly delighted by the Chocolate ambrosia. As I put some on the tip of my finger I was delighted by the lightness of the product. It wasn’t at all thick or creamy, but had more of a mousse-like texture. Before applying the masque I had cleaned my face by leaving a warm wash cloth on it for a few minutes. This way I knew my face would be ready for the masque. As I spread the masque on my face I loved that it felt so light and smooth rather than goopy. I left it on for about 20 minutes and then rinsed it with warm water. As I felt my face afterwards I couldn’t believe how smooth my skin felt. I truly felt refreshed and renewed. It was like having a mini facial!
The ingredients in the masque are definitely why it works so well. First, it contains Shea Butter which is a skin protector that renews cells while nourishing and moisturizing the skin. It is like a natural sun block. Plus it contains lactic acid which is a mild exfoliant that helps reduce wrinkles and improve the skins texture. I honestly could not believe that after only one use of the chocolate masque that my skin felt so much smoother. I had never had a product after one use be so noticeable!
If you can relate to my chocolate addiction and crave the scent too, then you must give Hemloq’s Chocolate Masque a try. You are in for quite the treat and I know you deserve it!!

I can’t quite imagine a chocolate facial masque but I’m intrigued. Does it make you want to go eat a chocolate bar?? 🙂
