So way back in September, T with Honey told us about her favorite undereye concealer:
“The best product I have found to make me look bright-eyed is being discontinued but I’m going to tell you about it anyway (I never want to look bushy tailed unless I’m going to a costume party). L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Eye Line Minimizing Concealer in the Neutralizer shade.”
I stumbled on that post a few months ago from entering “dark eye circles” in that little search box there on the right. I have hereditary (I think) circles under my eyes and let’s just say three babies haven’t exactly helped me look any younger or fresher. I immediately looked at both Target and Walmart for this product. It had, as she predicted, unfortunately been discontinued.
So I thought I’d update you on the new version, which I’ve been wearing for a couple of months now and love it. It’s L’Oreal’s Visible Lift Line-Minimizing & Tone-Enhancing Under Eye Concealer. (I’m using the light/medium shade.)
See that top? It’s a brush. You twist the tube a click or two and the concealer comes out by the drop within the brush. Genius. I brush it over the circles under my eyes and smooth/pat with my ring finger (the most gentle finger on the hand, did you know?).
I think it makes a huge difference in my bright-eyed-ness but you’re just going to have to take my word for it because there is no way I’m going to go apply makeup right now just to show the internets some proof.
(It’s Pajama Day at my house.)
(And Pajama Day = No-Makeup Day.)
(I’m sure you understand.)

I also have the dark circle problem, if I ever dare to go out without make-up people ask me if I’m sick……..
I have used Bobbi Brown’s two step under eye system the last few years and love it, but this would probably be way more reasonable, think I’ll give it a try!
Thanks! I’ve been using an Almay product since I was 16 and it’s just not cutting it at 30. 🙂 I’ve put this on my shopping list!
I REALLY LIKE your before/after shots, so maybe when you’re over PJ Day, you could oblige? I hate putting stuff under my eyes, but if it’s as gorgeous as you say… I might consider it! Please?
The whole brush dispenser thing was a turn-off for me. I found it harder to control the amount of coverage with it. Every product I’ve tried that has one of those is so unpredictable. I twist and either nothing comes out or a big puddle of product comes gushing over the brush. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck and always get a defective one?
lol Love that last bit, of course we understand, but I still want before and after pics on a Non Pajama Day 🙂
I’ve been using this to cover up the dark circles post-baby #3 and have loved it! I actually look awake and not ten years older than I am!
