I’ve written before about how I pencil in my sparse eyebrows, and I stand by my favorite product, the Vincent Longo micro pencil, but I’m having the darndest time finding it! I placed several online orders, only to be informed that they were out of stock. I finally found one lone micro pencil and snagged it (I’d have bought 10 had they been available) but I’m coming to terms with the fact that I may need to find another favorite eyebrow filler-inner.
I purchased this 2+1 for Brows by Paula Dorf a while back because I thought the concept was nifty.

It hasn’t quite lived up to my high expectations, but let me tell you what I like about it, and then I’ll tell you why I’m still on the hunt for the perfect eyebrow corrector.
What I Like:
- With the Paula Dorf Eye Definer Brush, you first apply the wax. This helps the eyebrow powder stay put, as well as any wayward eyebrows.
- There are two shades of color, which allows you to blend and get a more natural look.
- It applies easily and looks quite natural — more so than a pencil.
What I Don’t Like:
It’s not dark enough for my brows, and I still end up penciling over top of it. I don’t mind that so much because it ends up looking quite natural, but when I run out of my last Vincent Longo pencil, I don’t know what I’ll do next. I’ve looked high and low for a pencil that is dark enough for me, even with the help of a sales associate at Sephora, and nothing quite does the trick.
The Long and the Short of It:
If you have lighter brows, you may REALLY like this product. It also lasts FOR-EV-ER.
