Big, Beautiful Lashes

Recently I was at my big box beauty emporium looking for some new mascara. I wanted something that would lengthen my lashes, would be waterproof and not come off without eye makeup remover.

I asked the girl in the makeup department, who had her back to me, what she would recommend. The girl {let’s call her spider leg eyelash girl} turned around to tell me that she recommended Cargo Texaslash. Holy cow, spider leg eyelash girl, you might have put too many coats of mascara on. It truthfully looked liked long- legged spiders had landed on her eyes. That didn’t stop me from buyin’ what she was sellin’, though.

It is true what they say about Texas…everything is bigger in Texas…so I decided that I must try this Cargo Texaslash. Good stuff people. The brush for the mascara is very large. It really does lengthen my lashes and it stays put until I take it off with eye makeup remover.

I would highly recommend this mascara. It cost me $20, but it was worth it once I tried it. I don’t think that I will be following spider leg eyelash girl’s lead, though. I think I will stick to one, maybe two coats. That is definitely all that you need.

  1. I haven’t bought myself an “expensive” mascara in a long time because I’ve been trying to be good… but I think this might be an excellent time to splurge!

  2. When I try new mascara, I am always disappointed in the results and end up sticking with my beloved Maybelline Full & Soft.

  3. Love a new mascara! I just got another one that I don’t like so this will be a good one to try out – thanks for the recommendation!
