Yes To Carrots

Or cucumbers or tomatoes depending on your skin type.F0_0100_0000_body_lotion

Wait! Is this a review for food or skin care?

Don’t worry – you are in the right place!

Yes To products have taken the super antioxidant ingredients from these foods and put them into skin care. Beta-Carotene from the carrots, Lyposine from the tomatoes and Vitamin C and K from the cucumber along with minerals from the Dead Sea help to make up these yummy Paraben Free skin care products.

I needed some new body lotion and really just stumbled across the Yes To Carrots brand. I didn’t realize it was getting all of THIS press. I have to agree with the good press and say that this product will probably become a staple in my daily beauty routine.

The carrot body lotion is made for all skin types and along with the carrot seed oil and carrot juice, is also blended with Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Melon and Dead Sea Mud. It sounds like a smoothie, doesn’t it?

It goes on very easily and doesn’t feel greasy at all. It left my skin feeling very smooth and it smells so fresh. I love a fresh smelling body lotion because then it doesn’t seem to interfere with any perfume that I put on.

I picked it up at my local Walgreens for about $8. Be sure to join their Carrot Club to get free promotions and updates and even follow their daily “Yes To Moment” tweet on Twitter.

One of my favorite things that I found out about this company is their Seeds Fund.

The Yes To Carrots Seed Fund, a U.S. 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is on a mission to make a difference in people’s lives by providing under-served communities with the resources to develop and sustain an organic food source and access to healthy nutrition.

So, I say Yes! Yet To Carrots. And tomatoes. And Cucumbers. Apparently, they are not just for your salad, anymore!

Comments

  1. I’ve noticed the product in the stores. What is the ingredient list like…any bad things to be aware of? I’m going more organic these days.

  2. Well, the list is pretty long. They claim to be ALMOST all natural – something like 98.6% whatever that means. I don’t see that it is organic at all.

I like no paraben which is big.
I’ve had some contact via Twitter with a rep – maybe I can get her to come here and comment on that.

  3. Sounds interesting…and yummy!
