Kabuki Unique-y Fragrance-y

I have a hard time with fragrances. I used to be that girl that always wanted the newest perfume. I enjoyed florals, woodsy scents, citrus scents, musks, vanilla, you name it. Unfortunately, most perfumes now give me a headache. I had started to limit my choices to fragrances with vanilla or sandalwood. I had found about 5 fragrances that worked for me without giving me a headache. After finding Tokyo Milk products, though, I have been able to broaden my horizons. This small company produces products that are surprisingly affordable. You can buy a perfume for just under $30.00.

I was making a sales call the other day at a darling store called Lily on the famous King Street in Charleston, SC. when I discovered this line of fragrances. She carries their perfumes, soaps, lip balms, travel candles and bubble baths. After smelling all of the different choices, I decided that my favorite was Kabuki. It is made with sugared grapefruit, lychee and sweet jasmine. It is sweet, but very exotic and turns mellow after a few minutes, kinda like warm honey. It is really very unique, and comes in a vintage inspired bottle. This company also offer fragrances like I want Candy, Dead Sexy, Let Them Eat Cake, Cherry Bomb, Honey and The Moon, just to name a few.

If you are not going to be in Charleston, SC anytime soon, you can go to www.tokyo-milk.com or amazon.com. I would also google this product because I’ve heard that you can get some free samples. Not sure where, but if you look around it could be worth it.
