When it comes to makeup, I’m an eyeshadow junkie. I love creating new looks and wearing bold colors. Since most of these looks pair better with a nude lip, I needed the perfect nude lipstick.
By now I’ve tried alot of nude lipsticks and it’s not as easy as it seems to find a good one. Some are too creamy, calling attention to the lines in your lips. Others are just the wrong color. You would think nude would be a pretty easy color to nail right? But just like skin, everyone’s lips are different colors. I have a decent amount of pigment in my lips so I was looking to tone it down a few notches.
Since my concealer was close to my skin color, I thought I’d give it a shot. And it actually worked. This may not be the perfect nude “lipstick”, but it works in a pinch and it will suffice until I do find the perfect (for me) nude lipstick.
The key thing here is to start with a nice exfoliated lip. Few things are less attractive than scaly peel-y lips. Next put on a light application of lip balm to moisturize. Then lightly dot your lips with the concealer and pat in with your finger. Apply your choice of lipgloss over the concealer and you’re done! How easy was that?

What do you use to exfoliate your lips?
I do this quite often! For me, nude lips just seem to look better, and you’re right…finding the right nude lipstick is very hard!
Beautiful!
