Whenever I start to feel a bit frumpy, I hightail it to the salon for a fresh haircut.
Conveniently, one of my best friends happens to be a hairdresser; it’s just a matter of texting her “tell me if you get any cancellations this week!!” An added plus, my mom was in town all last week to babysit.
(Although I’d pay a babysitter for a little time away at the salon if that was necessary.)
Jenny fit me in on Friday. (FAREWELL, FRUMP!)
So, anyway, just for fun, here are the before & after shots.

But that’s really not what I wanted to talk about today. After she dried my hair and used her straight iron on it, Jenny sprayed me with a little Kenra #9:
Now, I’ve been using Kenra forever, but in the #25 – which is basically freeze spray. I only use it for up-dos and special occasions.
#9, however, is much lighter (as in, you can still swing your hair around) but held in the style and smelled SO GOOD. I mean, so, so good. She said #9 is the only one of their line that smells like that.

Cute hair! I also love getting my hair done and would pay a sitter if needed. Usually I don’t have to though. And my husband has never suggested we cut my hair upkeep from the budget, so even he recognizes what it does for my mood. 😉
I’m sad Sally’s doesn’t have this. I’d love to try it. Always looking for a great hairspray {just like my endless search for the perfect mascara}!

I love the smell of #9 – strawberries.
I hate to admit it, but I’m pretty into #25 for every day (I don’t need much, but still? love it).
I am in DESPERATE need of control for the ever present darker hairs that want to stick out everywhere…thanks for the recommendation!
I love all the Kenra products. My faves are the #25 hairspray, the taffy, and silkening gloss.
