“Skinercise” A Skincare Concept You Need To Know

Just_like_the_sun_glowing_by_shantaycinnamonI have sung the praises of several skincare lines that I really like here on CC. Though I do appreciate what they did for my skin, I still always felt that there was something missing, that my skin wasn’t quite satisfied with long-term results; this is why I continued to search for a better match. Recently I came across an ad in a health magazine for Corrective Skincare and contacted the company for some samples and info on the line.

Master esthetician, Gale Roberts, with years of experience working in the industry and seeking solutions for her own aging skin realized the need for products that would bring true results in a timely manner. With her experience and much research, she made it her mission to develop a skincare line that would do just that and more.

According to the Corrective Skincare Web site, “Gale had a major breakthrough when she discovered that the levels of key ingredients in traditional skincare products were not formulated at high enough levels to give optimal change to aging, acne affected and sun damaged skin. With this key piece of information, Gale began developing her first products with higher percentages of benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid and other major ingredients for a new level of effectiveness.”

When I received six complimentary CSC products for trial, I, of course, approached the “new” system with an open mind and willingness to give it a fair chance to either impress me or disappoint me. To my utmost joy, I am pleased to tell you ladies that I am 100% impressed! In only a couple of weeks I’ve experienced better balance, clarity, and an improvement of some acne scarring that had been accumulating around my chin area.

The amazing thing is it’s only been a short time; what continual scrubimprovements can I expect as I continue to use them? In the past, I’ve tended to think that if my skin responded that well immediately, I would continue to be happy with it long-term. Well, here’s the thing with that: After several months of use, most personal care products decline in their effectiveness . There is a scientific reason for this. It resembles how your muscles plateau after doing the same routine for a long period. The solution usually involves changing up the exercise program enough that the body gets stimulated into action again. CSC understands that “change is good” and has incorporated that fact in their program called “Skinercise – “customized ingredient levels and programs that are always evolving to keep giving you the results you want.”

Obviously, one of the most important things for anyone is seeing results, but another REALLY crucial consideration is – what am I putting on my face to get those results? Corrective Skincare products have been created with the concept that your skin can only look and feel its best when it is presented with natural ingredients that complement what’s already going on under the surface. With an impressive formulation that includes such ingredients as Cage Zeolite, natural Jojoba beads, Japanese Green Tea, carotenoids and tocopherals, Octapeptide “Snap 8” (an agent that reduces the depth of wrinkles), and almond oil, I am convinced of the company’s concern for utilizing the finest available components.

Another bonus that I appreciate so much is the natural scents that all of the products have. They’re light enough that I don’t go into “fragrance overload” but, at the same time, have aromatherapy benefits. Trust me, I wasn’t complaining that one of the products is almond scented and another sweet cherry; these are two of my favorite scents. It makes my skincare routine more than pleasant.

I’m looking forward to trying more of the CSC line. With so many “skinercise” options, I’m also grateful that they offer a personal consultant to help you make the best product choices for your skin. Even the most experienced skincare consumers need that kind of attention. I will not settle for less now that I understand a little more about my needs.

  1. Hey Kellie, I’m curious… now that you’ve been using this for a few months, how’s it holding up?

  2. I have fully integrated it into my skincare routine and have had much success with most of the products. There are a couple that seem a little too moisturizing for me though. For some reason I’ve had a bout of oily skin that happened prior to my starting with Corrective Skincare products. Their AHA products is really effective at exfoliation and helps with breakouts. I’m actually giving away a starter set of their products on Womenslifelink.com for the Septemeber 15 and 16 Blogmania. Please visit and enter to win if your interested!

    Best,
    Kellie
