With Memorial Day weekend fast approaching, the summer vacation season has officially begun! Despite the fact that this year, “summer vacation” means I have get to fly across the country with a toddler, I must admit: I’m looking forward to packing some wee little samples of my favorite beauty products. This week finds us in my lovely mint green bathroom again!
1. EZ4U 2 Go 4-in-1 Facial Treatment.

So leetle! And they work.
Ignore the cheesy name of these, because seriously they are the greatest invention ever! I got a free sample pack of them last year and decided to never vacation without them again. I was skeptical of the 4-in-1 claim – would I really not have to pack my usual makeup remover, cleanser and moisturizer? The answer: No need to pack anything else. These get the job done. The downside to them is that they only come seven in a pack – so they’re kinda pricey, but very much worth it.
2. bareMinerals Mini Refillable Buffing Brush.

A refillable travel-sized makeup brush? Genius!
For seriously? I can haz foundation and brush combined into one wee little tube? Sold. Bonus: the foundation has SPF so no need to pack a separate sunscreen for mah face.
3. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Look how cute! A wee baby shadow primer!
We’ve already discussed my crush on this fabulous shadow primer. But look at this teeny tiny version of it!! Granted, it came with an eyeshadow set that was a MASSIVE FAIL for me (glittery eyeshadow + anyone not going to the club = OH MAH GAH PLEASE DO NOT DO IT!), but I bought it on clearance with a gift card – so I don’t feel too bad about my purchase. You can find value sets like this pretty often; right now there are some available at Sephora (you can check the Urban Decay site, too; in doing so, I discovered that they offer matte shadows! Noted for next time, fo sho.) and you, too, can get your own travel version of the magic potion! And maybe some eyeshadows that hopefully won’t make you look as much like a loser as I did. Ahem.

Hello, glitter face!
4. Portable razors. Last week, we briefly discussed the Schick Intuition, my at-home razor of choice. But let’s face it: It’s the Zack Morris Cell Phone of razors.

I dare you to not get the Saved by the Bell theme song in your head now.
I practically need to buy its own seat! So, when traveling, I really like the Venus Spa Breeze disposables instead. Much more compact for travel.

Now I dare you to not get Venus in your head. "Goddess on the mountaintop..."
Also: I always manage to panic during my last-minute Target run and wonder, “OMG, do I have travel sizes of [fill in the blank] in my stash?!” And then I get home and see that my bag, still packed from my last trip, already has what I need. As a result, I end up with a huge collection of unused, travel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, you name it. The good news for people like me who are addicted to these adorably sized products? There is almost always a homeless shelter looking for these very items around the holidays. So, see, my little shopping habit is actually a philanthropic effort. Yeah, that’s it…
So that’s my vacation beauty bag in a nutshell. What products do you take on the road?
