I recently invested in a couple pairs of dress pants after I was faced with a business meeting and realized I pretty much only have jeans at this point. I picked the Marisa pant from LOFT in heather taupe and black and they have been terrific! I love them. Dress pants in a classic cut and color are something you will wear for years – worth spending a little extra on! But there's tons more – all under $100.

LOFT is always my go-to for work clothes that you can dress down, too. I like the Ann cut, and you can catch them on sale for as low as $30 sometimes. I guess at that price they’re not even an investment!
