If you are a daily follower, you know that we are in a two week series on our skincare routines. I change mine around, but right now I am loving several Elizabeth Grant products. I was given these products to review for Chic-Critique, and I have fallen in love. I start my skincare routine with the Elizabeth Grant Vitamin C Cleanser. I think that this cleanser has a great Citrus smell, I only have to use a really small drop and it leaves my face feeling very clean and soft. I also think that it has helped tremendously to clear my hormonal breakouts.

I like some exfoliation when I wash my face, so I have started adding a drop of the St. Ives Apricot Scrub to mix in with the Elizabeth Grant Vitamin C Cleanser. The Apricot Scrub has salicylic acid, so in addition to some exfoliation I think it also helps with my breakouts. It is inexpensive, a little goes a long way and it has won Allure’s Reader’s Choice award.

I then add a little Clear Zit wherever I have a breakout. It is formulated with 10% benzoyl peroxide, is super inexpensive, but does a good job of drying up any breakouts without overdrying my skin.
Next, I dot some Elizabeth Grant {Biocollasis Complex with Torricelumn} Advanced Cellular Age Defense Eye Serum under my eyes and on the outside corners of my eyes with my ring finger. By using your ring finger to apply anything around your eyes, you are using the finger that will apply the least amount of pressure in a highly sensitive area. I just pat the serum in around my eyes rather than rubbing it in. It is best to use the least amount of pressure when dealing with the delicate eye tissue area.
I then apply my Elizabeth Grant {Biocollasis Complex with Torricelumn} Advanced Cellular Age Defense Day Creme. This moisturizer rocks my world!! My face has never felt so soft. I have been told several times lately that I look about 10 years younger than I am. Hehe. I love it. Maybe this moisturizer is doing its job:) I don’t know about 10 years younger, but whatever. I’ll take it.
When I just want to clean my face quickly, I reach for my Noxzema Triple Clean Anti-Blemish pads. These are a super fast way for my face to feel clean. I like that they have salicylic acid, so they can help dry up any blemishes. It’s been a blazing hot summer here in the South, so I have been using these if I need a refresher during the day after sweating from being in the over 100 degree heat. Gross to think about a precious flower such as myself sweating, but let’s be real here. It has been friggin hot!!
When I need to declare war on my blemishes, I reach for my Mary Kay Clarifying Mask. This product is Ah-maze-ing!! I discovered this 20 years ago when I was selling Mary Kay. {20 years ago??? No way…what in the world…where has the time gone???} It tightens my pores, and clears up my skin like nobody’s business. When I need to declare war, I slather this all over my face and sleep all night with it on my face. There has been more than one time that I have severely frightened my husband when he has woken up next to a white-ish, violet-ish faced wife sleeping in bed next to him. Oh, the things we do for beauty.
