When I was first introduced to Novica.com by a PR rep, I thought it was going to be just another online shopping site review to add to the list of honest opinions I peddled for a promo code (a blogger thing). Well, how wrong I was! I have developed a consumer-love relationship with this company that is associated with National Geographic and has a mission to help artisans of developing countries get their work out in the market. And, not to mention, I absolutely adore the unique products they offer. Decor and Style magazine said this about Novica:

My second purchase from Novica.com was for two Christmas gifts for my daughters. I anxiously awaited the boxes that were arriving from India and Thailand. Because of my first clothing purchase a couple of months ago, I knew to expect them to arrive super fast and packaged in a way that could be a work of art in itself (see photos). Both packages came in record time and I felt like I was receiving the gift when I opened each of them and nearly had tears in my eyes at the beauty and unprecedented care that went into the presentation.
The “Eternal Violet” necklace is a 
Christmas gift for my 18-year-old daughter who has dedicated herself to her schoolwork and getting into the best college medical program she can. I wanted to give her something special, so this necklace seemed the perfect fit for my plan to show her how much I love and appreciate her. The necklace was cradled in a black velvet portfolio style package with a beautiful tapestry fabric on the top. Can you say, WOW? I just stared at it for a couple minutes before placing it back into the box for safe keeping until I start my holiday wrapping ritual.
The “Sweet Pendulums” earrings are for one of my older daughters who is just starting her career as a hair stylist. She is so artsy and creative, just any old earrings were not gonna do. The photo really do
esn’t do the pair justice. They are so delicate and have a glimmer that shows off the quality of the silver and the pristine craftsmanship by the Thai artisan. Now, I know you want me to tell you about how this one was presented…
Try a handcrafted paper box with a miniature pillow that hold the earrings…oh, yeah, then there’s the little mini books that tell about the artist and the individual product. Needless to say, my daughter will be thrilled when she opens it!
