    Oh, I definitely miss the clothing. The lightweight, frilly skirts and sleeveless tops, and of course, flip flops and sandals. I’m counting the days!

    I miss my garden, my tomatoes, raspberries, sitting in the grass…tending to my roses or lavender plants….I do NOT miss the weeds!

    Flip flops are actually the thing that I miss most about summer!! I like the warm sunshine, but you can get that even when the air is cold. I love a good flip flop, but I prefer to wear them when there’s NOT a chill in the air. I’d pick the Slim Peacock in Sand Grey.

    Well, I certainly don’t miss the mosquitoes and the stifling humidity. But definitely lazy pool days and sun-kissed skin and running around outside without coats!

    I miss being able to see my toenails all the time! I hate wearing shoes & socks all the time and live in flip flops as soon as the weather is warm enough. I miss getting to admire my polish of the week regularly 🙂

    I miss the smell of summer. Blue skies that go on forever here in Texas. Peach Iced Tea. Flip Flops by the back door, driving by the local lake to watch the skiers. Watermelon for lunch. Sonic Drinks in the afternoon. My ceiling fan going on high. I love summertime.

    I miss being able to open my windows and smell the fresh air (oh wait that’s only spring I can do that!) I miss the long days, the not ‘bundling’ up just to go a short distance and I miss the laid back/relaxed atmosphere. I’m ready for the SNOW to leave!!!

    Definitely flip-flops. I’m like you—I wear them until it’s below freezing, and get them out when the temps hit 50 in the spring. I just bought a pair of my favorite dressy flip-flops in gold yesterday. Can’t wait to wear them!

    I love summer. I often wonder why I live in Illinois, especially with 6″ of snow on the ground and 0 degrees wind chill. The thing I miss most about summer is my happiness. Winter sucks.

    I miss flip-flops too! I have twin girls (14 months) and a 3 1/2 year old girl. Every time I have to leave the house, it involves at least three trips up and down stairs to the garage. It’s very hard to get downstairs to the door leading to the garage, put down my two armloads of stuff or people plus diaper bag, purse, etc to put on shoes. It’s not worth the extra effort. Flip-flops!!!

    I miss the single layer & the opportunity to live in a swimsuit. If I could get away with wearing flip flops (Havianas are my favorite!) in the middle of winter in Indiana, I would!

    I miss the unencumberedness of summer. (Yes, I realize that isn’t a word.) But in the winter, to go anywhere, it’s ten minutes of finding everyone’s hats/boots/gloves/coats, and then all of the zipping/buckling/fastening. Then once we actually GET somewhere, it’s hot. Blech.

    I most miss not just being able to shoo the children out the door whenever we have to go somewhere instead of the hour of putting on hats, coats, mittens, etc. Ha! Just read the above comment, guess I’m not alone.
