Actress Julianne Moore is the new face of Talbots, featured in their Spring 2011 campaign. And MAN, from what I see here, I cannot wait to get my hands on some of these gorgeous pieces! According to People, Talbots chief creative officer Michael Smaldone calls Talbots style tradition transformed… We want to hold on to the classic pieces, but make them relevant to a woman today. We re not trendy, but our clothes are current and modern.

Sounds like Talbots is the perfect place to pick up some investment pieces, Ladies! What do you think of the campaign Are you as excited to see this new line in the Spring as I am

    I must say that the last Talbots catalog I got was surprisingly great. If they weren’t so pricey I would’ve picked up a few things for myself. I have been shopping there for my grandmother for years. I have bought lots of things there in the past.

    I keep telling my friends that Talbot’s is not your grandmother’s store anymore! I even got a cute bathing suit from there last year!

    i love julianna moore. i also love talbots. i think she’s a perfect face for their brand… she’s sexy, but dresses well for her age… but in things that i (in my 20s) would TOTALLY wear.

    i especially loved her on 30rock awhile back… she’s so funny 🙂

    I’ve always thought of Talbot’s as kinda stuffy and have never bought anything there. I’d love to see what the new look is all about.

    Talbots has really change over the last few years. I used to think they were granny-ware but as a 20something I can totally wear the stuff and look fashionable. They have the usual stuff for their loyal (and usually, older) crowd that appreciate the classics, but they have even more stuff for the fashionable lady 🙂

    I’ve shopped off and on for years. I can always find a few basics and for the length of time I keep clothes I don’t think their prices are too bad. They frequently have sales, great sales in fact.
    I love their new stuff and can’t wait to get rid of the rest of the baby weight so I can go buy some new clothes at Talbots.

    I love Talbots – there new stuff is so great! Good to see them changing things up!
