One of the first things a new mother might think about is the decor for the baby’s nursery. I remember when my first was born, we lived in an apartment with yellow walls in the second room. Easy enough. I chose a boy design that had some yellow in it.
This time around (my 5th, also a boy), I’m working around my son’s blue room and he is more than excited to share with his new baby brother. He’s 7, so it’s been a while since we had itty bitty boy things (as all my middle kids are girls). Fun to bust it out again.
I want to introduce you to a lovely baby bedding company, Carousel Designs, creators of some of the most beautiful, unique, and quality baby collections I’ve ever seen, right here in the USA.
I mean, how fun are these:
Besides tons of gorgeous nursery sets, they also sell items a la carte, including their signature crib blankets. We’ve never had anything like this before, and I was sent one to review. The top side is a blue circus toile print and the underside is the SOFTEST minky chenille so popular right now, in a sweet limey-sage color.
One of the things I love about these crib blankets is they are slightly larger and heavier than the average receiving blanket. So cozy. I KNOW we’ll be throwing this blanket over the infant carrier come next fall and winter. That said, I’m sure it will see it’s fair share of the laundry process, too, and I can personally vouch for the quality – it will easily stand up to the baby test (and my kids are, um, hard on stuff!.)
And stay tuned, we’ll be hosting a Carousel Designs giveaway here very soon!
Disclosure: I was sent a free crib blanket to facilitate this review.
