V-Day Gift Guide: Lingerie

Looking for the perfect gift for the husband this Valentine’s Day? How about letting him unwrap his favorite thing – you!

There are tons of styles in all sorts of price ranges. Frankly, comfort isn’t a huge factor, since these things usually aren’t worn very long anyway. AHEM. Its what you’re comfortable in is important. I firmly believe that sexiness is about 99% confidence. If you feel sexy, you’ll look sexy!

Hate your belly? Try a babydoll that falls loosely to offer coverage! Want to cover up your thighs? There are some amazing longer nighties out there. Need some support? Try lingerie with shapewear. (Yes, that actually exists. Its a great time to be alive.) So figure out what makes YOU feel good and go for it!!

Some ideas to get you started….

The sheer babydoll from Victoria’s Secret is only $29! (Would make a great bridal shower gift too!)

This bra and panty set is so adorable! And you can get the set for under $20 at Target. Bargain!

For extra support, Yummie Tummie has a shaping teddy! Genius! Its a bit pricey ($108) but would be great for wearing everyday as shapewear as well!

This bra and panty set from Gap is so sweet! I love the lace, the details and the pale blue color!

Another sexy shaping option is this Body Boudoir Contour Bodysuit by Mission Control for $74. It has an inner shaping panel minimizes torso, while the built-in push-up bra lifts & enhances. Nice.

Isn’t this one cute? Its from FigLeaves.com – and it comes in sizes up to 22. They have a huge selection of larger sizes.  For tiny sizes, try The Little Bra Company – they have sizes as small as 26AA.

  1. I adore FigLeaves! Ordered wonderful lingerie from them for my honeymoon.
A word of warning: the company’s based in the UK, and returns are a hassle so make sure you get the right size! And yes, you should check US-UK size compatibility. Oops.
