I’ve long been a fan of pediped® footwear for stylish but functional shoes for my little ones.
pediped® footwear has been awarded the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance for the promotion of healthy foot development, and the pediped® footwear system has recently been endorsed by researchers associated with Harvard Medical School and Children’s Hospital Boston.
If they’re good enough for harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s, I guess they’re good enough for me!
I was delighted to see that pediped® footwear is launching an Adventure Line as part of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection.
The functional, yet stylish Adventure Line footwear includes a natural rubber sole, toe caps and Velcro straps. The machine washable shoes are lighter weight and more flexible than other waterproof shoes available on the market. Offered in EU sizes 20-31, the collection features twelve bright colors in two adorable styles: the Nile, a Mary Jane style for girls, and the Amazon, an athletic sandal for both boys and girls.
They sent me a pair of pink Amazons to review, and I can attest that these are the lightest, most flexible shoes I’ve ever put my hands on. Unfortunately I misjudged the size, and they are a little too big for my daughter, so we lovingly set them on a high shelf in her closet until she grows into them.
But wait, there’s more. In addition to the debut of the exciting Spring/Summer 2011 collection, pediped® is happy to announce the launch of the pediped® Foundation to support children’s causes. Giving back to children’s causes is nothing new for pediped®. Since the company’s inception, they have donated nearly $700,000 in cash and products to children’s charities, and the establishment of the pediped® Foundation will only crate more ways for pediped® to give back to those in need.
