Review: Voluminous Million Lashes

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect mascara… one that would make my lashes thicker and longer without clumping or leaving my poor lashes dry and brittle. And one that would of course cost less than $10.

I adore Clinique’s Lash Doubling Mascara, but sadly it retails for $14. I’d much rather pay about half that. After all, I do have to replace said mascara every three months.

(This is the part where you nod vigorously because you know how important it is to change your mascara every few months to avoid bacteria build-up. Right?)

Anyways, I kept trying every single drugstore mascara the online world recommended, all to no avail. My latest failure? Rimmel’s Volume Flash Mousse. Ugh. Clump City!

Then I found it. L’Oréal’s Voluminous Million Lashes. Right in my local grocery store and on sale for $7 ($8.95 MSRP).

This mascara does not clump. At all. It makes my lashes longer, fuller, stronger, curvier. It somehow brightens up my eyes, and incredibly enough, lasts all day.

Crazy the difference, right? It also helps that I'm wide awake in one picture, and well, not so wide awake in the other.

I’m picking up several more of these babies over the weekend just in case L’Oréal makes the poor corporate decision of discontinuing this incredible mascara.

Ladies, run! Don’t walk. Because you’re worth it. That is the L’Oréal slogan, right?
