What I Wore Wednesday

What Grace Wore: Coral shrug from the Dress Barn, [not available on line] worn over a  white cami. Gray linen slacks by Jones NY. Bubble earrings from Target. [See inset photo.] Met Too Lightening wedge heels in  black patent. I wore this to my son’s birthday dinner at our favorite restaurant.

What Jo-Lynne Wore: Last week we took our family on a historic tour of Philadelphia. I decided to wear my new CAbi Sigourney skirt with my favorite black tank (bought at Banana Republic last year.) I brought my denim jacket along but didn’t end up wearing it. Comfy black Reefs were my footwear of choice, and I carried my coral leather Kate Spade [Outlet] handbag. I threw on a long chain necklace to keep it current and add some interest. I felt casual and comfortable and feminine. I loved wearing a long skirt for a change.

What Becky wore: Old Navy shirt from last year, Gap Womens Long & Lean Jeans (White Wash), and Charming Charlie necklace. I wore this to work, and was not entirely comfortable in it (hence the headless shot, because the discomfort was visible on my face!) I’m not used to such a drastic contrast with the bright coral shirt and the bright white bottom; I maybe should have eased my way into the white pants trend instead of diving in head-first.

What Sarah Wore: This maxi dress from White House Black Market is so pretty and comfortable that I put it on for church and ended up keeping it on all day including doing an in studio photoshoot and heading to a friend’s backyard BBQ. Shoes are by Paolo from Nordstrom.

What Priscilla Wore: Both the top and bottom are from White House Black Market (last season).  I love their clothes because they fit well over “grown women curves” while still being trendy. I also like the fact that the skirts are just a little longer than most, and the scoop neck or v-neck tops have necklines that are just a little higher. I shop here a lot because I get coupons from them and I automatically get 5% off of every purchase because I’m on their mailing list. I also love that they support breast cancer awareness. Last year they even featured my friend Debra Wood, a breast cancer survivor, as one of the “25 Women Who Inspire Us Most”.  You can read Deb’s and all of the women’s stories here.
