Just a few short weeks ago, I was offered the opportunity to represent Lands’ End at the BlogHer Conference in San Diego. The fashionable ladies behind Mom’s Fashion File threw the most fabulous party of the weekend, and I was delighted to be a part of it.
Kate of The Shopping Mama was my fellow “style agent”, and we spent the entire day in the Secret Style Suite, outfitting the lucky bloggers who were chosen to get a style makeover. Lands’ End sponsored our travel and supplied us each with two outfits to wear on Saturday during the fashion makeovers and at the evening party.

For the daytime, Kate looked super chic in her Cotton-Modal Self-Ruffle Tank and dark wash Slim Leg Jeans from Lands’ End Canvas. And I chose this simple white Ruffle Henley Tank and Stretch Premium Denim Boot-cut Jeans in vintage indigo. If you haven’t checked out Lands’ End in a while, you really should take a look. These jeans were fabulous. I love the wash — so great for casual everyday — and very flattering.

That night, we spent most of our time in the lobby stamping hands, handing out drink tickets, and escorting guests to the elevators for the Style Suite Party at the Hard Rock Hotel. It was tiring, but fun. I loved seeing everyone as they came in for the party, and later on we headed upstairs to grab a drink and get our picture taken on the pink carpet.

I wore slim leg white jeans and a black ribbed tank, which I dressed up with one of my favorite Stella & Dot necklaces. I was really pleased with the fit of both pieces. I like how the top wasn’t as low-cut as most of my tanks, the arm holes were sized nicely too. The jeans were great. I even had someone who knows of my penchant for designer denim ask me if they were my own jeans. Several people commented on the great fit. I also wore silver sandals, which you obviously can’t see in this photo.
Kate wore this Sleeveless Pleated Dress and jazzed it up with statement jewelry. Many of these pieces are on sale right now, so definitely check out Lands’ End before they sell out.
In the Style Suite, we handed out these fabulous Lands’ End gift bags to each of the 12 bloggers who were fortunate enough to be chosen to be styled by some of the most fashionable mom bloggers in the industry.

Here are Stacie Divine Miss Mommy and Melissa from Sippy Cup Mom leaving with their bags of loot. In addition to the Lands’ End bags, they received outfits, a handbag, and small gift bags from Microsoft, Johnson’s and Scotch Naturals nailcare.

Wanna know what was in those Lands’ End canvas totes? Well, I’ll tell you! Each woman took home a fabulous Lands’ End canvas tote packed with a bathing suit and coordinating coverup in her size, flip flops, sunglasses, and a beach towel.
How fun is that!?
