I used to have a catalog addiction. It’s not that I shopped too much from them, I just got too many and then poured over each and everyone wishing my life was more like the ones on the shiny pages. I wanted to host parties on the Pottery Barn beach patios and cook with everything in the Williams- Sonoma kitchen.
I’ve mostly recovered from wishing my life into catalogs, except for twice a year when that tidy little British tome arrives. Twice a year Johnny Boden sends me a seasonal message paired with pages upon pages of adorable clothes set against envious backdrops. Each page tells a story, and I wish I was on every one.
I could be wearing this skirt and adorable booties. Of course, I’d be strolling arm and arm with a handsome gent through an impossibly green field in the English countryside.
Clearly, if I had these, they could only walk on cobblestone.
And these strolling along The River Seine.
And of course, for journaling al fresco with a warm cappucinno, one must have the proper purple trouser. Right?
To pull it all together, I’d need a smart satchel. I mean a girl must be ready for whatever adventure awaits. Even if in real life it’s just the grocery store, or work, one can never be too chic-ly prepared!

Oh, I see what you mean, I think I will have to add the Boden catalog to my collection as well.
