Fashion Friday: Jewelry Pieces Every Woman Should Own

You know the classic wardrobe pieces you need to have, right?  Little black dress, white button down shirt, navy blazer, black riding boots… But what about jewelry? There are 8 classic pieces you need in your jewelry box:

Diamond Studs:
Who cares if they’re real or not? They always looks fabulous! These are from Kohl’s: white gold and on sale for $35.99.

Chandelier Earrings:
Chandelier earrings are probably the easiest way to glam up your outfit. Everything from a turtleneck sweater to a sheath dress can get cranked up to a whole new level with these! I love these from Stella and Dot. If you’re going to invest, go with something that will go with everything – simple gold or silver is perfect.

Pearl Necklace:
Now you could go classic here. But I am loving a pearl choker with a modern twist:
You could save your pearls for special occasions… but why? Layer them on over a cashmere sweater, under your slightly unbuttoned white button down shirt or just with a black suit!

Classic Watch:

The absolute classic and perfect investment is the Cartier tank watch, of course. All you need to know is that Jackie O wore it. Period.  This one by Guess has the same look, but costs about $2,500 less.

The alternative classic watch is the round-face gold watch. Its been around for years and it will be staying around. Wear it loose to make your arms look lithe.

Pendant Necklace
Layer it over a cardigan, a maxi dress, with a short delicate necklace… go bold but neutral for maximum wearability.

Chunky Bracelet
Anything goes here – just look for something that would instantly jazz up a black sheath dress. Silver (like this one from Stella and Dot) or gold or mixed metals or pearls – whatever you think you’ll wear the most.
