You know how you get to the bottom of a tube of moisturizer or makeup and you can’t get the last vestiges of the product out of the container? If you tend to buy pricey products, or even if you’re just a frugal “waste not, want not” type of person, this probably drives you CRAZY. It does me — especially when it is a product at a higher price point. I have cut open tubes of moisturizer to find weeks’ worth of product left inside (I cut them in half and store them in Ziplock baggies until they run out — just a hint for you.)
But what about those containers that you cannot cut open? Hard plastic or glass containers are often impossible to penetrate, and it seems criminal to allow that remaining product to go to waste.
Well, that is exactly what the folks at Every Drop thought, but they actually did something about it.
Every Drop is a small rubber spatula specifically designed to get into the smallest openings and scrape out the remaining cream that might be trapped inside of a near-empty bottle of product. They also sell small cosmetic jars in which to place your rescued product and save it until it is used up. BRILLIANT!

I tried it out on a bottle of conditioner that was almost gone but not quite. I paid a lot for this product, and I didn’t want to waste any of it.

You just take the top off and use the spatula to scrape out any remaining bits of product, then you place it in the cosmetic jar provided.

It worked pretty well. I think it would be nice to have a slightly larger spatula, for this much product, but then I’m not sure a spatula that is any larger would have fit through the opening of the container. It was kind of hard to pull it out at times. It took me quite a few swipes to get it all out, and it wasn’t wiped clean by any means, but I definitely saved enough product for at least two more hair washings. And for something like a facial moisturizer, it could probably save up to a week’s worth of product for you.
All in all, it’s a nifty product, and at $14.99, a pretty good value. I’m sure I’ll use it again.

I LOVE this Beauty Spatula !! It has saved me several times…….and lots of money!
I recently used it on my Serum, which is very expensive. The eyedropper does not reach the bottom thus leaving weeks of product in the bottle. Also currently using it on my Base makeup…I am going on 2 weeks now of using product that would have been thrown away. My latest discovery is using it on a tube of under eye cover stick. This stick will now last me another month !! LOVE IT !
Hi Jo-Lynne! Thank you for the review. We love to hear back from our bloggers. The spatula size was designed to be used in almost all container sizes. We didn’t think offering two spatula sizes was a good idea cost wise. We wanted to keep it affordable for the consumer. Enjoy!
That makes total sense. Thanks for commenting!
