What We Wore This Week – 1.4.12

Happy New Year, Chic Ladies! Our contributors are showing off some of their favorite outfits they wore over the holidays!

Trina wore this gorgeous Grey knit tunic from meetmark.com, color-block scarf she received in a blog swap, Taylor skinnies from Delia’s, MUK LUKS boot socks from Hautelook and wearing my new black leather Steve Madden boots for the first time.  Black ring from Charlotte Russe. Polish is Carey by Zoya with Sally Girl chunky silver glitter top coat.

Grace was so tempted to go in sweat pants but picked herself up by the proverbial and literal bootstraps and got herself Respectable for the trip to the grocery store. The boots are literally from 25 years ago, the last time riding boots were in style, when Nickels was a high-end brand. She got the Gloria Vanderbilt black jeans at a thrift store and modified them into skinny jeans. Sweater by NY&Co, Eddie Bauer down vest and Paul Smith’s signature scarf that she “borrowed” from her hubby.

Jo-Lynne wore this outfit on a date night dinner at a casual oyster house. The ballet neck sweater (similar) is feminine and flattering, and the Joe’s bootcut jeanswith flap pockets balance out the volume in the sleeves of the top. It was a mild night so she used the opportunity to bring out her favorite black wedge sandals (Nine West). The red bag completed the understated date night ensemble. Jewelry is by Stella & Dot.

Melissa wore this for a date night last week to dinner and a movie. Ruffled button-down shirt is from Old Navy a few years ago (similar here) and jeans are Dojo by 7 For All Mankind. She had to wear these, her very longest jeans because she had on her killer heels from Sole Society! It was super cold, but she just had to wear these shoes when she had an excuse!

Nicole wore a scoop-neck tee from Old Navy, slouchy sweater vest from Charlotte Russe, belt from Forever 21, jeans from Express, boots (not pictured) from DSW.  This was an around-the-house outfit.  Trying to get a few things organized before she loses her new-year-resolution-drive.  “I always feel like I get more done when I get dressed, even if I’m not leaving home that day.  So while I love my yoga pants, sometimes they just don’t cut it.”
