Embrace color with bright jeans!

No need to be afraid of color below the waist. I know, scary for some of us, but hear me out!
To be honest, it terrified me. I don’t wear anything but black or dark blue jeans so the fact I am even writing about this is a step in the right direction. I have slowly, after trying on different styles, come around to the fact that I can wear colored jean. It’s just been a matter of finding a good fit and color. I don’t think I’ll ever wear the yellows or oranges, so I’ve started with a blueish/purple to get warmed up.
There are some fabulous deals out there now. If you want to try a pair without breaking the bank, check out the vibrant new range at JCP (which by the way blew me away!) Or if you want color but not ready for the brights, go for the reds as seen at Old Navy.
But if you just want to go for it, then check out these beauties from Marshalls.
There really is something for everyone, so why not give it a try?
Take if from a colorphobe who’s been cured, you feel alive with a touch of color. It’s going to be a very bright spring, and you don’t want to get stuck in the dark. My advice is to start with what you have at home and experiment until you feel comfortable. Try out bright tops and accessories then work your way down.
Let me know how it goes!
What spring trends are you most excited about?

  1. My teen daughter started wearing bright colored jeans last year and I haven’t been brave enough to join her yet but I do see they are popular. I always think they look great on other people and in stores, just my own worst critic I suppose.
