Review : Dawgs Bendable Ballet Flats

Lets face it – women love high heels but more often than not high heels are not very comfortable! Unfortunately, sometimes style comes before comfort, and you still don the  sky-high heels for occasions that demands the extra oomph only a killer pair of heels can provide! But you find yourself in a situation when after the event is over, your feet are screaming and you wish  had your comfy house slippers on! I have found myself in such situations many times over! Living in New York, where everybody walks everywhere, a comfortable and cute looking pair of shoes is as essential as a pack of kleenex in your handbag. Lucky for me, as a Chic Blogger Network member, I was sent a pair of bendable ballet flats by Dawgs brand for review.  I waited a week to write the review, as I wore them and tested them on Manhattan sidewalks, and have to say Dawgs company has got it all figured! These shoes are the answer to your sore feet prayers! To be clear, they will not replace your special occasion shoes, but they will be great ‘side kicks’ when you want to release the stress from wearing heels! Here is my complete review –

Packaging – Dawgs bendable ballet flats come in a soft nifty little bag with strings. So you need not worry about ‘dirtying’ your bag when you put the flats back in your bag!
Size – These flats bend quite easily and take just a little more space than a cell phone – here is a picture to give you an idea. (And yes, I don’t have a smart phone!) It can easily fit in any handbag.
Look – I got the red flats with a cute little bow and they look really cute and pretty. They have padded insole and  rubber outsole. Dawgs bendable ballet flats come in 4 more colors including a snake skin pattern! You can see more styles here.
Comfort – These flats are very comfortable and soft. The material is stretchable for being able to bend and roll, and because of that the upper part of the flats is very thin and you can see outline of the toes and fingers. But that is just a minor concern as overall, the shoes are very comfortable and after couple of hours in high heels, they feel like a blessing to the sore feet.

Verdict – These bendable ballet flats are very comfortable, nicely built and good-looking. They are not for 24/7 use as they do not have a great arch support, but a great addition to your shoe collection, only they go to your bag, and not to the closet! A must have for those who often find themselves in high heels and want to take a break whenever they can!  You can buy these shoes directly from manufacturer’s site or from Amazon

disclosure: we received a pair of flats to facilitate this review. as always, all opinions are our own.
