I just love Ashley’s site, Flats to Flip Flops. She is totally adorable and she seems to have that gift of looking fabulous without trying too hard. Not to mention her site name is awesome. I always love to visit her site, where I know I’ll see not just great outfit ideas,but learn about the many charities she is passionate out, like The Hudson Foundation, she started with her husband to help families struggling with infertility.

“As I started following fashion blogs I thought it would be nice to have a blog dedicated to moms on the go,  because, lets be honest, 4 inch heels are not always the best idea when you are grocery shopping or chasing kids around at the park (ouch)!”

1.      How do you describe your style?

This is a hard one! My style changes with my mood! Which, no lie, is ever changing. But I think the best way to describe it is Rock Mom Ready. At least that is what I strive for and envision in my head! I really try to make fashion practical for mom’s on the go, so it doesn’t seem so intimidating. My motto is comfy can be cute and fashionable!

2.      What’s your favorite thing in your closet?
Right now…my mint skinnies. For sure!
3.      What was your ‘best buy’ story?
My thrifted Red Blazer! I LOVE that thing. It cost my $6.00 at my local thrift store and it was one of those pieces I didn’t know I NEEDED until it was in my closet!
4.    What are your favorite stores to shop?
I love thrifting… when I have time. For trendy/cheap I love Forever 21 and Target. For more long lasting pieces I love Gap and a little boutique store in my hometown called LuLu Bella’s!
5.       Name the most valuable tool in your makeup/skincare bag:
Nip/Fab, hands down. I have the Pigmentation Cream and Dry Legs Lotion and LOVE them! They are a cheaper version of a brand sold at Neiman Marcus. Everything is $20 & under at Target!
