Pamper Yourself for SpaWeek

There’s nothing like a pampering spa treatment to make me feel like a new woman! After an insane month of packing and getting our house ready to sell, I was in dire need of a spa! And Spa Week was the answer!!

Spa Week is a bi-annual nationwide event focused on the personal health and wellness of consumers. Every April and October, hundreds of spa and wellness locations across North America discount two to three full-service spa treatments to just $50 each, offering affordable access to the spa and wellness lifestyle. Spa Week is just around the corner, April 15-21, but bookings start March 11th. This is a fabulous way to try out new treatments you’ve been wanting to try or to treat a girlfriend or sister to come with you to the spa!

All you need to do is go to and search by your zip code to find participating spas in your area:

For my Spa Week treatment, I headed out to The Day Spa at Skin Deep in Media, PA. They have several treatments available for just $50 and I picked the 70 minute Green Tea and Hot Stone Pedicure.

The Day Spa at Skin Deep was just a little slice of heaven on Earth. From the warm fire in the reception room to the offers of coffee or tea to the sweet staff – it was just a lovely experience all around! I soaked my feet in a warm bath with scented salts, followed by the shaping of the nails and cuticles, then exfoliation for dry skin and calluses (MUCH needed). Then my feet were lotioned up, wrapped up and just let everything soak in for a bit… then a hot stone foot and leg massage. The nail polish was merely the finishing touch – and unnecessary, since I was practically asleep by that point, I was so relaxed!! If you’ve never done the hot stone at the spa, you MUST!! Its amazing!

Disclosure: I received a complimentary treatment to experience Spa Week for myself. As always, all opinions are my own and I HIGHLY recommend!!
