For months I have been reading about how fabulous glass nail files
When I got home I did the shaping I had needed with the high grit side of the emery board, then smoothed the edges of my nails with the low grit side of board. I was not surprised that the nails were still kind of rough. I took out my new glass file to do some even finer smoothing — the grit part of the file feels smooth to run the skin of your finger tips over and it does not feel like it would pull at any fabric, but when applied to the nail tips I could tell there is a extra fine grit and it actually works. It is perfect for creating an extra smooth nail edge and for smoothing any sudden flare ups but probably not enough to do any serious shaping so I am glad I picked up the high grit emery boards.
I am totally in love with this glass file which will find a home in my purse when I stop playing with it — it’s so pretty.
It is about five inches long and came with its own storage case. I am looking forward to a long friendship with my new glass file as I delve further into the world of nail art for newbies.
