Hanes Legwear for Fall

Fall fashion is the best, isn’t it? I love falling into cozy sweaters, boots and layers after a summer of flip flops and sundresses!

Fall fashion is always changing, but a new wardrobe is hardly necessary every year. A few simple pieces in the season’s hottest trends are all you need!   Keep your clothing budget on target with a few simple tips:

  • Accessorize! Accessories are always a cheap way to keep up with trends. A simple scarf in the season’s hot pattern is a great way to stay trendy without breaking the bank! Pair it with a classic black blazer and white shirt and you look super trendy – for around $10!
  • Work the Color Trends: The “IT” color changes every season. Don’t go bananas and buy everything in (this year’s) oxblood and cobalt. If you want to try out the season’s hottest color trends, grab a cardigan at Target or LOFT. Pick up a cute pair of skinny jeans or cords at Old Navy. Mix them in with your wardrobe and you’ll look right on trend without breaking the bank!
  • Small touches: If a lace dress isn’t in your budget, go with a lace tank! Dying for a leopard print jacket? Leopard print flats are a good way to add that trend for less!
  • Stock up on Basics: Every fall, I stock up on a few pairs of Hanes tights for winter!  Buy several – there is nothing more frustrating than heading out the door and realizing you have a run in your ONLY pair of tights! At under $6 a pair, you can afford to have a few extras! MY favorites are the seasonless tight and the opaque tights – I always have 2 of each in my stash!

  3. Great post! I didn’t even know Hanes makes tights. Will definitely check them out, Chicago winds are unforgiving!

  4. I love wearing tights and boots or ballet flats in the fall and winter… so much better than bare legs, at least for me! 🙂 Plus the control top version is always nice in the tummy region. haha.

  5. I haven’t worn tights since grade school. What a fantastic idea! A way to continue to wear dresses into the cooler months.
