ATC Favorite: May Designs

I admit it. I am a sucker for cute stationary. And pens. And office supplies in general. (What is it about binder clips…)

So I instantly fell in love with May Designs… especially their new Nantucket collection!

From monthly agendas to stylish notecards, every aspect of May Designs is customizable including a fun array of elegant monograms and novelty cover patterns. Each May Designs notebook offers a choice of practical inside pages ranging from agendas and journals to grocery lists and budget planners all neatly clad in soft canvas covers. Plus, May Designs takes care to individually stitch down the spine of each book for an eco-friendly binding solution that’s durable, water-resistant, and can easily withstand being thrown into your purse or diaper bag without losing its shape.

My first reaction to the Nantucket collection was along the lines of “Squee!! They’re so ADORABLE!!” Then I quickly noticed the quality. The thickness of the paper, the sturdiness of the covers, the stitching on the spine… and all of that for around $20? Unbelievable!!

My absolute favorite is the meal planner ($22). Since I went back to working full time, I have rediscovered the art of meal planning. Mainly because if I don’t plan ahead, we don’t eat!  It has a place to plan out your week and a spot for your grocery list – it has been a lifesaver!! I keep it in my purse, so I can jot down items in the carpool line or waiting at ballet lessons, then I have my shopping list ready to go when I find time to hit the store.

The y don’t just offer notebooks and planners -check out the budge journal! What  great gift for a new grad!

They have customized note cards, books for kids (like a handwriting book – how cute is that?), journals, agendas… all adorable and all very well priced. I’ve see custom stationary in the gift shops in my town for more than twice what these cost. They make great gifts for teachers, graduates, brides-to-be and more!
