Best Summer Ever with Starbucks Teavana® Shaken Iced Teas

Summer. There’s nothing like it.

Even though we are working and kids are going to camp… its just a slower, more relaxed pace.  This is our first summer here in New England and we are completely loving it. Last summer we were traveling all over and moving up to Rhode Island. This summer, we are working hard and playing hard!

We take time at least twice a week to go to the beach. It never EVER gets old. We refuse to take for granted that we live less than 5 minutes from this:

Even if we don’t swim – just flying a kite is fun!

We’ve been exploring all over the place. Last week, we took our very first ferry! We went out to Block Island and instantly fell in love.  I even learned how to ride a scooter!! I was terribly nervous, but it was so worth it. We found this isolated, quiet little beach to explore to our hearts’ content. Sometimes leaving the beaten path is the only way to go.

Mohegan Bluff Beach

And our favorite new activity — we’re learning how to kayak. Even the kiddos! We love it. This past weekend, we went out on the bay and had our first try at ocean kayaking. It was a lot harder, but we’re learning. Learning how to deal with currents is certainly tricky!  Colin found it rather tiring.

I’ve even been shaking up my go-to drink. You know how I love my coffee, but for summer I go for the teas! And I’ve fallen in love with Starbucks Teavana® Shaken Iced Teas! They are incredibly refreshing – ice cold and just the right amount of sweet. The Teavana® Shaken Iced Blackberry Mojito Tea Lemonade™ is my absolute favorite. It even makes errands fun!

Try the Teavana® Shaken Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade™ and Teavana® Shaken Iced Black Tea Lemonade™ as well. I’m just full of iced tea ideas this summer:
