We are big chili eaters in this house come fall! With sports practices and after school activities, dinner is always a huge challenge. And chili (and soups) are perfect for make ahead. I often will get them ready in the afternoon before the kids get home and throw them in the crockpot or simmer on the stove until dinner.
Which is one of the best parts of chili – it gets better with time!
Another chili tip – always make a double batch. Freeze half and you have a ready-to-go dinner waiting for a busy day!
