Elizabeth & Clarke is the perfect answer to finding great basics without spending a fortune. They design, develop, and manufacture their own line of basics (using the same factories as the big designer brands in some cases) and then only sell the collection online, eliminating the middleman and the need for expensive physical stores. Thus, every season, they offer up a selection of great-quality $30 blouses.

My favorite this winter was The Cooper. Such a great classic piece – a cozy grey sweater with silky white details peeking out at the cuffs and hem. Perfect for dressing up with a glam necklace and blazer or just jazzing up your normal jeans and a sweater routine.

Then comes The Scott. This cotton black shirt has such a fun neckline – I love when Elizabeth and Clarke takes something simple (like a tshirt) and makes it unique with a simple detail!

And finally, The Carson.Talk about a great layering piece! Layer it on over a plaid flannel for a cozy look or wear on its own over a black tank for a casual, but sophisticated look!
