Dreaming of Tahiti with Windstar Cruises during Plan a Cruise Month

We’re in the process now of planning our travel for next year. This is one of my favorite parts of the travel process… researching destinations, exploring possibilities, making lists, figuring out itineraries…

This year, our kids are only asking for one thing: snorkeling. Our entire family loves to snorkel! Rhode Island is not exactly known for its snorkeling, so we need to indulge on vacation! We’ve snorkeled with sharks in the Caribbean to turtles and penguins in the Galapagos Islands!

If you have water babies like we do, cruises are ideal! You can hit a ton of cool spots in a short time to see all sorts of different creatures. Our favorite part of a cruise is the excursions!!

One place we’re positively dying to go is Tahiti! We’ve never explored that area of the world and just imagining days in those crystal clear waters is amazing. The Dreams of Tahiti cruise by Windstar Cruises looks amazing all by itself –  Island hop all over Tahiti while staying overnight in this gorgeous sailing yacht to give you time to swim and snorkel in crystal-clear lagoons, meander through lush rainforests, and experience the fascinating Polynesian culture from tikis to tiare flowers.

Seriously, check out the excursions! Snorkeling in coral reefs, stingray encounters, plantation and pearl farm tours, scuba diving, Aquasafaris, hiking, dolphin tours… Can you even imagine?

I’d need to take advantage of Windstar’s hotel and tour packages to extend my trip so I could do everything on my Tahiti wish list. (Would I even need to come home? I could just stay, right?)

  1. Love snorkeling. Did it a few times in the Caribbean. Can get lost under the ocean.
