So it’s not exactly a secret around here that I’m not afraid to talk about unmentionables. I’m all for knocking down the wall of secrecy when it comes to talking about the more personal things in life.
I like to think that if it’s on my mind it must be on other people’s minds as well, right?
So today I am going to talk about underwear. Specifically, the best underwear ever.
My favorite type of underwear are Victoria’s Secret Body by Victoria Hiphuggers.

There are a few reasons why I love these underwear.
- They don’t show under most of the clothing I wear. Jeans, dress pants, and skirts have no vpl’s (visible panty lines) when I wear these.
- They don’t give me a wedgie. Now I don’t know if this is my specific problem or if most of America has one giant wedgie but I find that so many types of bikini underwear just ride up after a while. These underwear are constructed so that the bottom of the leg opening ends just where your butt meets your thigh. I like to think that…
- …the low cut of the leg opening gives my butt a little lift… and what’s not to like about that?
Now I know that most people think I’m crazy to buy underwear that retail for $12 each or $3/30 but I swear it’s worth the investment.
Actually, if you come back next week I promise to share with you how to make that $12 pair of underwear last forever.
Do you have a favorite brand or style of underwear? Are you loyal to one particular brand? I’d love to hear about them!

I wish I could remember what my underwear of choice is during the non-pregnant days. Something seamless that I got at Target. Love them! But I’m not digging them out of the tub of clothing I won’t see till 2010 just to find out.
However I think it is funny that I just picked up a pack of hiphuggers from Motherhood that I LOVE! With Princess as I entered the 3rd trimester the only undies I could stand wearing was something that reminded me of what my great grandmother wore. These are definitely NOT granny panties! Plus, they’re comfy, sit low enough on the belly to not cause excess pressure – the kid is doing enough of that – and I haven’t seen a panty line yet.
I LOVE VS undies too! I’ll admit, I’m a thong wearer, but the last time I was at VS I noticed less and less thong selection, so I’ve been thinking of giving something else a try – I’m just SO afraid of the VPL – so I think I’ll give these a try next time!!
Thanks!!

I LOVE these underpants. I know I have a few pairs from several years ago (2002-03?) and they are still in amazing shape. I have lately switched to thong style and they are as fabulous as the bikini style. (PS – is it wrong to own 7 year old underwear?)
LOL. I love how you just get right to the topic at hand! 😉 My favorites are also from Vicky C’s. But they are the t-h-o-n-g. Shhhhhhh.
Today I bought some VS underwear, and I thought of you. I just logged on to see if they are the same as the ones you discuss, but they are not. I hope I like them though. They will NOT go in the dryer! 🙂
