Fix Summer-Dry Hair in 5 Minutes!

Summer has just done a number on my hair. I decided to stop blow drying and flat ironing my hair for a couple weeks and haven’t colored it in about 8 weeks. Still with the sun, saltwater from the ocean and chlorine from the pool it has felt so very dry. So, I decided it might be time for a deeper conditioner.

A few months ago I wrote a review about L’Oreal’s new EverPure Sulfate Free Hair products. I’ve continued using those and enjoyed them. With my straw-like hair, I decided it might be time to try the restorative hair masque from this line. I had a coupon, so why not?

L’Oreal’s Everpure line is made especially for color-treated hair and infused with yummy botanicals like rosemary, mint and juniper. I do love the smell of these products. The Moisture Restorative Masque is a rich creamy deep conditioner said to make your hair feel soft and left with a healthy shine.

So, I put this on just like the directions said – worked it into the roots and left it on my hair for a full 5 minutes. Rinsed and let it air dry overnight.

Just like that my hair is soft and shiny! For real! I can see with regular use of this that my hair could stay in a lot better shape.

With a coupon you can pick this product up for about $7. You can purchase it at ULTA online right now but I picked mine up at the local CVS.

Definitely worth it.

Because I’m worth it.

You see, just like that, L’Oreal’s marketing worked on me!

  1. I definitely will give this a try since my hair often gets “straw like” from the summer sun and coloring it frequently. I have also used cocunut oil from health food stores. I warm the jar in warm water and apply to hair overnight. (I warm the jar because the coconut oil is like a white blog until you warm it up.) Then in the morning I rub my hair with a towel to help remove excess and rinse the rest out. The only problem is it is tricky to use the coconut oil in the winter because it tends to solidify at a certain temp and no matter how warm your home is, the coconut oil clumps in your hair and is not so comfortable, etc. This L’oreal stuff seems a lot easier. I’ll have to check it out

  2. Loving all the “green” beauty tips yall are coming up with!! I will definitely be trying this line.
