If at first you don’t succeed, keep looking!

I’m a flip-flop kind of girl and where I live, we can wear them about 90% of the year.

However.

This year I thought I’d upgrade and get a pair of sandals with a strap. (It’s quieter, for one.) The pair I REALLY wanted were these, from Boden:

But I couldn’t justify $88 for a pair of shoes I was planning on trashing at the playground. Plus, I really wanted a bronze color. So I kept looking.

First I picked up these,

which were $20 at Target. BUT THEN I found exactly what I was looking for, a pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction sandals at Marshall’s, for $30. Of course I couldn’t find a picture online, so here ya go:

I LOVE them. They’re perfect and thanks to Marshall’s, I saved over half of the retail price. Gotta love that!

  1. They’re all so cute!

  2. Oh, I love Boden but yes, it’s so expensive! You got a great looking pair though! I love Marshall’s!

You make me want to hit up Marshall’s. I never have luck with shoes there. We have all three- Marshall’s, Ross & TJ Maxx- right close to each other.

  4. This year instead of buying much new for summer, I chose to beef up my shoe collection (including a pair of the ones you got from Target). It’s made a huge difference in my wardrobe. Cute sandals make everything look better. And I love Marshall’s for shoes – and Ross, too. Ross is definitely cheaper (and more disorganized and hit-or-miss) than Marshall’s.
