What’s At Trina’s Sink?

As most women out there, I’m on the all too famous quest for the holy grail of facial products. At this point in my journey I’m using Olay ProX for two reasons. First off because I’m obsessed with the expression lines around my mouth and need something to diminish them and secondly my 40 year old sister in law who looks 25 uses it {along with a few other pricier items I haven’t splurged on just yet}.

A little bit about me and my skin before we start though. I think that makes a huge difference when reading what someone uses on their face, no? I’m in my early 30’s, I have normal skin with very few breakouts and I never suffered from acne. Since I’ve always had pretty calm skin I only recently started consistently washing my face before bed. And that was only because I wanted to try anti-wrinkle products for my expression lines.

So back in June I purchased a ProX Intensive Wrinkle Protocol starter kit through Amazon because they had the best prices. It includes Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30 {daytime moisturizer}, Wrinkle Smoothing Cream {night cream}, and Deep Wrinkle Treatment {for trouble spots, twice daily}.

To complement the set, I also purchased the Olay ProX Exfoliating Cleanser for twice daily cleansing.

And also the Daily Regenerating Serum, used twice daily.

Daily Regenerating SerumSo for my Morning Routine:

  1. Exfoliating Cleanser
  2. Deep Wrinkle Treatment
  3. Daily Regenrating Serum
  4. Daily Repair Lotion with SPF 30

At night its almost the same except I remove my makeup with these CVS brand exfoliating cleansing cloths before using the cleanser. I love these because they have a textured side and a smooth side.

Night Time Routine:

  1. Towelette
  2. Cleanser
  3. Deep Wrinkle Treatment
  4. Daily Regenerating Serum
  5. Wrinkle Soothing Cream

I kicked off my new skincare routine back in June with the Olay 14 Day Rehabilitation Kit which I wrote about here.

Bottom line: I definitely think that Olay is a great product line. I have serious expectations however when it comes to seeing results on my expression lines {am I beating a dead horse?}. They may not be as pronounced as before but I can still see them. With that said I am very pleased with the overall texture and appearance of the rest of my skin. But I’ll still be on the lookout for that miracle in a bottle for these darn expression lines….a girl can dream right?

Disclaimer: This post was not sponsored by Olay. I purchased these products with my own money and my opinion on this product is my own as well. However, the links in the images I’ve included of the products are affiliate links.
