I'm on somewhat of a weight-loss journey this year {could I sound less committed?} and so far, I've lost about 20 pounds.
This is great for my heart and stuff, but pretty not-great for my closet.
Y'see, I was just beginning to enter the wardrobe realm of "have all the great classic pieces and now I can just occasionally add trendy items when I please". That included my outerwear. Now all I have is a single pea coat, and even that's bordering on too-big; and we're entering the months in my little town in which wearing a coat inside isn't terribly inappropriate. Because it's just so stinkin' cold.
I guess you could say I'm in the market for a new jacket.
Then I found out that BJs has a great outerwear line that's not going to cause my husband to have a coronary when he looks at our monthly bank statement. {BONUS!} So, I zipped on over to check out what they had.
My friends – I was shocked!
They have a great selection of faux leather and fur, pea coats, bomber jackets, puffer coats and more. I had so much fun going through their selection and trying everything on!
I ended up going with the Faux Leather Jacket in Vintage Gray because I LOVED the color {c'mon, y'all know I'm a gray/black/white girl} and because the stitching was super-slimming, and, weight loss or not, I'll take all the help I can get. Plus, the texture of the {faux} leather is to-die-for. The best part ? This little beauty cost me only $25.99.
Now that's a bargain!

OMG – my roommate just came home with the CUTEST winter jacket from BJs this past weekend. It’s a puffy coat with a fur trimmed hood. Who knew?! I want one for me!
