With three million feet of snow on the ground and 60 degree temps in the forecast, I started having nightmares about walking my kids to school through lake-sized puddles and mudslides. I knew their regular shoes would not cut it, and soon enough their snow boots would be too hot.
Lands End to the rescue. In years past, I have run from store to store trying to find cheap rain boots that fit my kids. It’s always hit or miss finding the right sizes and styles at the right times. I can’t for the life of me figure out when stores are well stocked for this particular item. I am always too early or too late.
This year, as the snow quickly turns to puddles, I know we don’t have time for shopping all over town. So instead I went online, had my kids pick a color, and boom — a few days later and we’re ready for spring. The kids say they love the way these boots feel because they’re tighter than the old Target boots we had so they’re not slopping around in them like before.
You’ll notice from the pictures, mama got a pair too. They are very tall and almost too snug to wear over jeans, but they’ll look great with spring skirts which I’m hoping to try out real soon when I put those ugly snow boots in the background away for good!

these are spectacular!!!!!
