Personally, I think the best Valentine’s Day gift is a little romantic getaway! (Plus, it ties nicely into our earlier post about lingerie!)
New York
The Warwick New York Hotel is totally gorgeous — and right near tons of attractions like Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue shopping, Times Square and Broadway. Seriously, you’ll feel like you’re in a movie – it’s so New York!!
W New York in Union Square is also totally amazing. It’s sleek, modern and in a super location. It’s a little off the path of the more touristy stuff, which can be even more romantic. 😉 This is a spectacular hotel — the rooms are amazing, the staff is delightful and there is a Starbucks right next door.
Boston
The Liberty Hotel is so unique — it used to be a prison! (Really!) My husband stayed here and said it was one of his favorites — truly not a cookie cutter hotel. And with its location, right in gorgeous, historic Beacon Hill, just one block from the Charles River, it’s perfect for a romantic stroll!
Maryland
Hyatt Chesapeake Bay… all I have to say is, who says you can only go to the beach in the summer? Talk about a quiet, romantic getaway! Heaven! And St. Michaels is only a stone’s throw away.
Savannah
How sweet and romantic would this city be? And restaurants galore! The Inn at Ellis Square looks adorable . It’s located in Savannah’s historic riverfront area, next to City Market, and one block from River Street shops and restaurants. Although, the Hamilton-Turner Inn is positively darling!!
Pittsburgh
The Nemacolin Resort in Western PA is an award-winning resort that is totally gorgeous and located just outside Pittsburgh. It’s a little pricey, but totally gorgeous!
New Orleans
This city is top of my husband’s and my list for a future getaway! The Royal Sonesta Hotel is right on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. Yummy food, amazing music… how romantic is this?
What’s your favorite East Coast location for a romantic getaway?

DC! I love the Willard Hotel… for really special occasions 😉
