Dansko’s New Sneaker Clogs

I wear heels all day.

Translation: my feet and back are not very pleased with me.

So imagine how thrilled I was to try out a new shoe that I could wear outside of the office to offer my feet some relief.  A shoe that actually mimics the look of a sneaker but with the arch support needed to undo the damage from my heels!

Dankso (which means Danish shoe) was founded by a husband and wife team in 1990 with a mission to design and manufacture footwear that is not only trendy, but ergonomically correct.  Dansko clogs are specially designed with a rocker bottom to enhance the comfort and stability.  The styles have changed over the years, but the underlying design remains the same.

You know what my favorite thing about these are?  That they look like sneakers, but the clog gives me enough height to even wear my longer jeans that I normally reserve for kitten or lower heels.  Talk about getting double-duty out of your denim!

Dansko doesn’t only make clogs though, the company also manufactures heels, boots, sandals, flats, health care shoes and even socks!  All shoes have the comfort and arch support expected of Dansko and are available in a variety of sizes and styles.  I got to try out the black canvas sneaker clogs and cannot wait to wear them this summer!  I can already imagine pairing them with my favorite pair of jeans for a day of walking around town without coming home with sore feet.  My pair was true to size and incredibly comfortable, just like wearing a regular sneaker, but much sportier looking.  I originally thought that it might be difficult to walk in the clog, but it was just like walking in my gym shoes.

And they are incredibly affordable!  The new clog sneaker retails for under $100!
