Review: Beanie Designs Baby Hats

Remember about 20 weeks ago or so I took my dear friend Elle maternity shopping and shared with you all our great finds? Well lo and behold, Elle’s Baby Boy arrived just a couple of weeks ago! He’s the cutest little boy there ever was – and I’m not just saying that because I’m his godmother.

Obviously I jumped at the chance to review a baby hat from the adorable Beanie Designs collection.

I adore the sweet little ears on the brown baby ear hat. It’s handmade, 100% cotton, and conveniently machine-washable. We got the 0-3 month size, which was nice and tight on this newborn’s head – perfect to keep him warm even when wriggling around.

My only complaint? It’s a little bit too long. There are probably a good couple inches between the top of his head and the little ears. Otherwise it’s a perfect hat to keep my newborn godson warm this winter.

(Yes, I know it’s April and technically spring, but it still FEELS like winter. Gah.)

In case you’re wondering, yes, those are socks on his hands. I learned this weekend that newborns don’t have a lot of control over their flailing arms – if he didn’t have socks on his hands, this handsome little boy would be covered in scratch marks.

disclosure: we received a beanie design hat to facilitate this review. we were not compensated financially for this post and – as always – all opinions are our own.

  1. Very good information on baby gears, hassle saving gears as well as designs for the nursery.
