I would like to introduce to you my favorite lipstick.  Available at your local drugstore:

There is also the Smoothwear line, and between the two, there are literally dozens of colors.

Apply the lip color, let dry for mere seconds, then apply the moisturizing topcoat. I’ve tried other brands of all-day lip colors, and the Cover Girl version beats them all. Every package comes with a tube of topcoat, but do yourself a favor and buy an extra to apply throughout the day. [Your lips may tend to dry out if you don’t.]

Here is a photo of my actual lips taken the other day just for this post. I took it in the evening, after I had gone through 3 cups of coffee, a sub (hoagie, zep),  glasses of water, pool splashings from my son, and finally, dinner:
