Relief From ‘Chicken Skin’

You know those little bumps you get on your arms or legs? That ‘chicken skin’ that you can’t get rid of? I was just talking about this with a friend as we lamented what age was doing to our bodies. And look what I just found out about:

DERMAdoctor KP Duty is clinically proven to improve the appearance of this condition! It is supposed to smooth away the dry, rough bumps, erase those little pink polka dots (so attractive) and leave skin hydrated.

Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a common skin disorder, typified by “chicken skin” bumps on upper arms, thighs, torso, buttocks and occasionally the cheeks. Excess skin forms around individual hair follicles, creating the characteristic minute, rough, grater-like bumps.

KP Duty incorporates medically proven technology including ingredients for hydrated and healthy skin. Medically potent levels of Glycolic Acid blends with Urea, the dermatologist recommended humectant, to soften and smooth away the driest roughest skin.

Keratosis Pilaris affects almost 50% of the world’s population and is particularly likely to affect anyone prone to eczema, asthma or hayfever.  It’s never a chore to attain flawless, smooth skin. KP Duty effectively eliminates crustiness, flaking, and dry, rough chicken skin.

I haven’t tried DERMAdoctor’s KP Duty, but it sounds like a great solution to a common problem! Have you tried it? What did you think?

  1. Ive tried it, sadly doesn’t work 🙁

  2. I tried it and got zero results. I actually like Cetaphil better.

I’m actually using something my derm prescribed to clear it up now… obviously I’ll write a post about it if it works!

There is a facebook group with people who have this condition and most of them swear by EVCO (extra virgin coconut oil). I’m going to try it soon. I’ll pass on this stuff.
